If emails to verification contacts bounce or contacts don't respond, the verification cannot be completed. We strongly recommend keeping contact information up-to-date and informing your verification contacts about their role so they know to respond when contacted.

Only contacts you've specifically designated as verification contacts can participate in the process. Each contact receives a unique, cryptographically secure token. False or fraudulent verification attempts may have legal consequences, and any pending verification can be cancelled by you logging in.
